Thank you for your interest in supporting the STL Chapter NTMA by applying for an associate membership. Our board of directors approves or denies applications for associate members.
To keep things balanced and make sure our shop members never feel overwhelmed, NTMA follows a 2-to-1 membership structure. That means for every 2 regular (shop) members, we allow 1 associate member. This helps keep our chapter focused on manufacturing while still giving our associate partners a strong place at the table.
We also limit associate membership by industry type — usually only 1 or 2 companies per category. That way we avoid oversaturation and maintain a healthy, diverse mix of partners.
It is understood that membership shall continue indefinitely, but that any member firm shall have the right to resign, in good standing at any time, provided the dues are paid to the date of resignation.
Dues of Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($750.00) per year are payable annually in January (first year may be prorated based on the month of enrollment)
Associate members are asked to promote NTMA membership to machine shops or manufacturing companies and assist in recruiting those companies by inviting non-member companies to participate.
Associate members are asked to commit to monetary or in-kind sponsorship support of at least one event per year. Sponsorship is recognized at meetings/event, and in various electronic formats, including on site at events, social media, and email.
Personal involvement and attendance at in-person events are strongly encouraged, as they offer the best opportunity to connect with fellow members.
Please continue this application and we will contact you if additional information is needed.
